Merwin, Hulbert & Co

The original Merwin, Hulbert & Co revolvers that were made during the late 1800’s were the most technologically advanced, finest made firearms of their day.

The new Merwin Hulbert Revolvers will surpass the originals and be a fine example of the gun maker’s craft as well as a robust and dependable firearm.

A Standard bearer for Classic American Craftsmanship

All of us involved in the restoring of Merwin, Hulbert & Co as a part of Sharps Rifle Company, Inc. understand that many people have been frustrated over the past year or more with the uncertainties that have surrounded this company and the building of its product.  Please know that the alternative to the actions taken would not have been very satisfying.

Further, as a part of the ‘re-organization’ of the Company it was necessary to take down the old web site and start anew.  This web site is a work in progress that is attempting to provide information to those that want to know what is going on and what level of expectation for orders placed with the 'old Company' might be realistic.  While finalizing matters of organization, facilities and financing we hope to manage this site to render usable information. Over the next coming weeks and months, this site will announce the appropriate ‘goings on’ while setting a realistic timetable for delivering a product to you that we are very excited about.

Everyone regrets that the clock has ticked for as long as it has but as real progress is now being made we can only hope to reassure everyone that our efforts are highly likely to succeed. While we as new owners were not involved with circumstances of the past, we greatly apprecitae your patience, support and forbearance.

A blog section will be added to this site shortly.
